Install BuildInspect

Hi Phil 👋 — tap the button below on your Android phone. It will download the app first (about 30 seconds), then you open the downloaded file to install it.

⚠️ The button downloads the app — it won't open on its own. After tapping, wait for it to finish downloading, then do Step 2 below to actually open and install it.

Full steps:

  1. Tap the blue button above. If it warns about the file type, tap Download anyway.
  2. Open the file once it finishes. Swipe down for your notifications and tap BuildInspect.apk — or open your Files app → Downloads and tap BuildInspect.apk.
  3. If it says "can't install" or "for your security...", tap Settings → turn on Allow from this source (Install unknown apps), then go back and tap the file again.
  4. Tap Install, wait a moment, then tap Open.

This is a preview build, so Android may call it an "unknown developer" — that's completely normal and safe. Any trouble at all, just message Carla and we'll sort it in a minute.
